Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held a public hearing Ju e 29, 2017 beginning at 6: PM at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland, MA at 6:30
The matters discussed were those reasonably anticipated by the Chair and published as the agenda.

HEARINGS~

Lawence and Ellen Dinkes of 159 Moreau Rd seek to remove three trees in the buffer zone of Otis Reservoir. One tree was damaged by rot and woodpeckers. Upon inspection other trees were deemed dead also. Recommendation by inspector to do all tree work at one time. No concerns noted.. Unanimous decision for a Negative determination. RDA 2017-06

Discussion with L. Dinkes regarding boat ramp extension. Hearing to be scheduled for July 11.
Discussion with Davio Danielson (Friends of Dance New England) about dam at Timber Trails and the need to get determination of dam safety from the Dam Safety Department. An RDA should be filed for work done recently on dam i.e. removal of brush and patching hole(s) in dam.
